Year 12 Standard English
Revision lesson - Going to the art gallery
Miss Aniello, Miss Nohra and Miss Ton, 2013
In today's lesson, we will be re-examining the episode Manna From Heaven from the Australian television series, SeaChange. The prescribed text SeaChange is recognised as being distinctively visual, thus we will be looking at visual and literary techniques that are present in both the episode and related texts - William Shakespeare's play, The Tempest, and Salvador Dali's painting, The Persistence of Memory.
The HSC is looming, so we thought we would take you to the art gallery featuring an exhibition on SeaChange, The Tempest, and The Persistence of Memory.
